In the 2011 Supplemental Draft, Sheamus was drafted to the SmackDown brand. Although he took his United States Championship with him, he lost it back to the Raw brand at Extreme Rules when Kofi Kingston defeated him.On the June 3 episode of SmackDown, Sheamus lost a World Heavyweight Championship match to Randy Orton due to biased refereeing from Christian. He faced Christian for a chance of a rematch with Orton, but lost.
